Job Summary
Providing extraordinary customer service, the full-time Patient Access Representative will manage patient registration and appointment scheduling for various radiology exams while working onsite during day shifts with the potential for remote work after six months.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients, verify demographics, and manage registration processes
- Coordinate and schedule appointments with nursing teams and providers, ensuring patient needs are met
- Handle financial responsibilities, including collecting payments and assisting with patient financial assistance
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
- One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology is helpful; customer service experience is essential
- Six months of customer service experience desired
- BLS certification may be required for certain locations and/or settings
