Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

Supporting healthcare revenue cycle operations, the full-time Patient Access Representative - Notification of Admission will manage payer notifications for inpatient and observation admissions in a 100% remote environment, ensuring accurate submissions and collaboration with various operational teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Review daily admission reports to identify accounts needing payer notifications
• Submit Notification of Admission requests to various payers while verifying coverage and eligibility
• Document interactions and monitor pending notifications to resolve issues within required timelines

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, patient access, or related operations
• Working knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care payer requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
• Professional experience documenting payer interactions and account activities clearly
