Job Summary
Acting as the first point of contact for patients, the full-time PACT Representative I will assist with scheduling appointments, handling inbound and outbound calls, and ensuring accurate patient information while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Links patient experiences between PACT and practice sites, managing appointment scheduling and cancellations
- Utilizes resources to assist callers, performing basic technical troubleshooting and escalating complex issues as needed
- Documents interactions in the electronic medical record and ensures compliance with emergency call handling procedures
Required qualifications
- High School Graduate
- 0-1 year of experience in a call center, healthcare, or customer service role
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required
- Ability to operate a multiple-line telephone system
- Basic understanding of computers and desktop software packages
