Job Summary

Representing the organization with exceptional customer service, the full-time remote Patient Access Representative will facilitate patient scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance while ensuring accurate data entry into patient records.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient scheduling, registration, and benefit verification processes
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and accreditation standards

Required qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines with high accuracy
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to use a 10-key calculator
