Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

Representing the organization with exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Access Representative will facilitate patient scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance processes, including scheduling and registration
• Verify insurance benefits and perform pre-certification and financial clearance tasks
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and documented in the patient record

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical experience preferred, with familiarity in medical terminology and insurance plans
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines with high accuracy
• Experience with computer systems and proficiency in using a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard
