Job Summary

Representing the organization with compassion and professionalism, the full-time Patient Access Representative will manage patient scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance, ensuring accurate data entry while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance processes, including scheduling and registration
• Verify insurance benefits and perform pre-certification and financial clearance tasks
• Maintain accurate patient data in records and stay updated on insurance and Medicare guidelines

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma required; some college education is helpful
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients and healthcare staff
