Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To support patient care coordination, the PRN Patient Access Representative will manage scheduling, gather necessary patient information, and assist with insurance pre-certification while primarily working weekdays with occasional weekend coverage in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Gathers and enters patient information into the database, resolving issues related to prescribed procedures
• Schedules patient procedures efficiently and coordinates communication regarding schedules
• Assists with insurance pre-certification and provides counseling on pre-service requirements

Required qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• No prior experience required
• Ability to perform frequent physical tasks, including lifting and data entry
• Capability to communicate effectively through oral communication
• No professional license or certifications required
