Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To support patient services in a remote setting, the full-time Patient Access Representative will manage scheduling, registration, and financial clearance processes while ensuring accurate patient data is collected and maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient scheduling, registration, and benefit verification for facility access
• Ensure accurate patient data entry into records and maintain knowledge of insurance guidelines
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare staff

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma required; some college coursework is helpful
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with patients and staff
