Patient Access Representative (MO Licensed)

Job Summary

Representing the organization with a high standard of customer service, the full-time Patient Access Representative (MO Licensed) will facilitate patient registration and scheduling, verify insurance information, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize critical thinking skills to address patient needs and ensure a positive experience while maximizing reimbursements and minimizing denials
• Perform hospital registration and scheduling tasks, ensuring accurate patient identification and documentation within multiple systems
• Understand and enforce compliance with Medicare guidelines, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory requirements while maintaining patient confidentiality

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior experience required
• Preferred: Associate's Degree
• Preferred: CHAA certification
