Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Scheduling Representative (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Schedules, confirms, and modifies appointments based on patient needs and departmental guidelines
• Communicates preparation instructions and ensures patients are ready for procedures
• Obtains and updates demographic, insurance, and financial information for accurate registration

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma/GED required; Associate's/Technical degree preferred
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
• One year of experience in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, or related field required
• Understanding of medical terminology required
• Working knowledge of insurance eligibility and prior authorization processes
