Job Summary
To support patient scheduling needs, the part-time Patient Access Scheduler will manage pre-registration and appointment scheduling for patients, handle incoming calls, and provide empathetic assistance in a remote call center environment, working from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm on designated days.
Key responsibilities
- Pre-registers and schedules patient appointments for assigned services in a courteous manner
- Directs calls to appropriate areas for services not provided in Patient Access Scheduling
- Acts as the first point of contact, assisting patients in navigating the healthcare system with empathy
Required qualifications
- 2 years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting
- Ability to handle a high volume of back-to-back phone calls in a call center environment
- Experience working in a remote setting while maintaining performance expectations
