Job Summary

Providing essential patient access and scheduling support, the full-time remote Patient Access Scheduler will manage appointment scheduling, verify insurance eligibility, and ensure patients are prepared for services while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Schedules, confirms, and modifies patient appointments based on needs and guidelines
• Verifies insurance eligibility and authorization requirements while maintaining accurate patient records
• Coordinates with providers to ensure all necessary information and preparations are in place for scheduled services

Required qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is required
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment, is required
• One year of experience in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, or related fields is required
• Associate's/Technical degree in business or a related field is preferred
