Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Access Scheduling Coordinator will manage scheduling and registration for various outpatient services, ensuring adherence to performance metrics and collaborating with team members to maintain high productivity and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling and registration for outpatient services including Surgery, Infusion, and Diagnostics
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of medical terminology and maintain accurate record systems
- Collaborate with team members to cross-cover all functions of Patient Access and meet quality requirements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
- Ability to interact courteously with diverse individuals and healthcare team members
- Proficiency in customer service, multi-tasking, and using office automation equipment and software
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Completion of a two-day infusion training is required
