Patient Access Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Scheduling Representative (Remote, Part time).

Key Responsibilities

• Schedules, confirms, and modifies appointments based on patient needs and departmental guidelines
• Coordinates with providers to schedule services and updates patient demographic and insurance information
• Verifies insurance eligibility and authorization requirements while ensuring accurate patient identification

Required Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Associate's/Technical degree in business or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• One year customer service experience, preferably in healthcare: Required
• One year experience in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, or related field: Required
