Job Summary

Supporting efficient patient care, the full-time Patient Access Scheduling Representative will perform patient access and scheduling functions remotely, ensuring patients are scheduled and prepared for services while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities:
  • Schedules, confirms, and modifies appointments according to patient needs and departmental guidelines
  • Verifies insurance eligibility and authorization requirements, ensuring accurate patient identification and registration
  • Coordinates with providers to obtain necessary demographic, insurance, and financial information for accurate scheduling
Required qualifications:
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent required
  • One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment required
  • One year of experience in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, or related healthcare field required
  • Associate's/Technical degree in business or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred
