Patient Access Services Representative

Job Summary

To support patient care operations, the per diem Patient Access Services Representative will perform insurance verification, obtain financial demographic information, and act as a liaison between verifications and reimbursement in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Obtains financial demographic information from discharge planners and outside referrals
• Verifies insurance information and notifies nurses of any changes
• Enters verified insurance data into the computer system and completes necessary forms

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of relevant experience required
