Job Summary
Providing exceptional customer service and managing patient interactions, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will work remotely, ensuring accurate patient information collection, appointment scheduling, and adherence to HIPAA regulations while residing in IL, IN, IA, MO, or WI.
Key responsibilities
- Consistently practice a Patients First philosophy and maintain high customer service standards
- Collect and verify patient demographic information and schedule appointments effectively
- Utilize technology to verify insurance eligibility and manage patient data accurately
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
- Proficiency in computer data-entry and typing at 40 wpm
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
