Job Summary

To support patient access operations, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will manage patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling in a remote capacity, requiring residency in IL, IN, IA, MO, or WI.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient registration processes and ensure accurate data entry
• Verify insurance information and eligibility for services
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate necessary follow-ups

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration preferred
• Experience in patient access or healthcare-related roles
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
