Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Engagement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for physician appointments and diagnostic test procedures
• Collects clinical information and verifies patient demographics for appropriate scheduling
• Educates patients and physician offices regarding department protocols and testing criteria

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in a customer service or medical office environment, or Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience
• Collegiate level skill set in proofreading, spelling, and grammar
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiar with EMR and scheduling systems such as EPIC
