Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Engagement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for appointments and diagnostic tests while collecting necessary clinical information and verifying demographics
• Utilizes scheduling software to facilitate patient access and educates patients and physician offices on protocols and procedures
• Monitors department procedures, provides backup support, and makes recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in customer service or medical office environment, or Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience in a similar field
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with EMR and scheduling systems such as EPIC
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle stressful situations
