Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist II to manage appointment scheduling and patient inquiries in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Responds to and triages a high volume of appointment requests via calls, emails, and electronic messages
- Completes scheduling tasks from work queues, including managing referrals and rescheduling appointments
- Documents patient information and inquiries, ensuring clear communication with clinical staff regarding patient needs
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of medical office or call center experience
- Entry-level computer skills as required by the department
- Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
- Accurate data entry skills
