Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with insurance verification and documentation, including securing pre-certifications and authorizations
Accurately schedule clinical services and confirm patient demographic and insurance details
Provide customer service support regarding financial responsibilities and pre-registration requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial/Healthcare preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in patient access, financial services, or healthcare-related roles
Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance protocols
Experience with hospital billing requirements and documentation processes
Knowledge of Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA regulations
