Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist (Differential Waiver).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate insurance eligibility, prior authorization, and referrals for medical services
• Communicate with third-party payers and healthcare professionals to prioritize requests and verify patient registration and benefit coverage
• Document work in case management modules and collaborate with cross-functional teams regarding patient care and necessary actions

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
• Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting required
• Understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes is required
• Proficiency with office equipment and computer systems is required
