To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will validate insurance eligibility and prior authorizations, ensuring proper documentation and communication with third-party payers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate insurance eligibility and prior authorizations for medical services, tests, and procedures
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and third-party payers to obtain necessary documentation and confirm benefit coverage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage referrals and assist in the appeal process for denied services

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
• Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting required
