Job Summary

To support practice operations, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will manage a high volume of appointment requests and scheduling for medical exams and procedures in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities
  • Responds to and triages incoming calls and requests regarding appointment scheduling and patient inquiries
  • Completes scheduling from work queues, including managing reschedules and waitlist appointments
  • Documents and distributes messages related to clinical questions and patient instructions for pre-visit activities
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical office or call center experience
  • Entry-level computer skills as required by the department
  • Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
