Job Summary

To support a patient-first approach, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient scheduling and information collection, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while working remotely from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, or Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns while maintaining confidentiality
  • Collect and verify patient demographic information and insurance eligibility, ensuring accurate scheduling and registration
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
  • Proficiency in computer data-entry and typing at least 40 wpm
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
