Job Summary
To support patient interactions, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient scheduling, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Collect and verify patient demographic information and manage appointment scheduling across various departments
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
- Proficiency in computer data-entry and typing at 40 wpm
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
