Job Summary

To support patient interactions, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient scheduling, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collect and verify patient demographic information and manage appointment scheduling across various departments
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
  • Proficiency in computer data-entry and typing at 40 wpm
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
