Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

To support patients referred for Specialty Infusion Services, the remote Patient Access Specialist will coordinate referrals, manage intake documentation, and facilitate communication among various teams to ensure timely access to care.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients and referral sources to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery services
• Creates and communicates required documentation for new referrals while assisting patients with payment options
• Supports activities for clean claims management and denial resolution by following up on missing paperwork

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous referrals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a healthcare setting
