Job Summary

Responding to a high volume of appointment requests, the full-time Patient Access Specialist will manage scheduling for medical exams and procedures remotely, ensuring accurate demographic collection and insurance registration.

Key responsibilities

• Triages incoming calls and requests promptly while demonstrating knowledge of practice protocols and payer contracts
• Schedules patient appointments and communicates necessary pre-visit instructions regarding insurance and required documents
• Documents and distributes messages related to clinical inquiries to ensure timely responses from healthcare providers

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office or call center
• Entry-level computer skills as required by the department
• Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
• Accurate data entry skills
