Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Access Specialist will manage patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling to ensure a smooth access experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient registration and ensure accurate data entry into the system
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient access or registration
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
