Patient Access Specialist

Job Summary

Providing expertise in Revenue Cycle operations, the full-time Patient Access Technical Specialist will implement and optimize outpatient clinic registration processes, train staff, and support system enhancements while primarily working remotely with occasional onsite clinic support.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, optimize, and monitor Revenue Cycle operational processes
• Coordinate system build, testing, training, and workflow analysis
• Provide on-the-job training for new hires and existing staff on Epic and clinic processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
• One year of relevant experience in a healthcare or operational setting
• Knowledge of EPIC outpatient registration and insurance coverage
• Experience in denial management
• Ability to train staff on outpatient clinic registration processes
