Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for their engagement center.
Position Responsibilities:
- Answer a high volume of calls using a multi-line phone and schedule appointments for multiple clinical sites
- Gather and input patient demographic and insurance information into the practice management system
- Assist callers and navigate them to the appropriate resources while meeting attendance and performance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish and 1 year of experience in healthcare patient service
- 1 year of experience handling a high volume of inbound calls
- Experience using an EMR (Medical Records) and/or scheduling software
- Excellent communication skills over the phone in Spanish
- Strong Internet Speed and access to router via Ethernet Cord (Minimum speed: 20mbps Download & 6mbps Upload)
