Job Summary

Managing a high volume of appointment requests, the full-time Patient Access Specialist II will schedule medical exams and procedures remotely while ensuring accurate demographic collection and insurance registration.

Key responsibilities
  • Responds to and triages incoming calls and requests professionally, demonstrating knowledge of practice protocols and payer contracts
  • Completes scheduling from work queues, including handling referrals, reschedules, and waitlist management
  • Documents and distributes messages regarding clinical inquiries to ensure timely responses from healthcare providers
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical office or call center experience
  • Entry-level computer skills as required by the department
  • Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
