Job Summary

Responding to a high volume of appointment requests, the full-time Patient Access Specialist III will manage scheduling for medical exams, procedures, and tests remotely while serving as an escalation point for complex inquiries from junior staff.

Key responsibilities
  • Handle appointment requests via telephone, email, and electronic messages
  • Collect demographic information and perform insurance registration as needed
  • Assist Specialists I and II with complex scheduling requests and questions
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical office or call center experience
  • Strong computer skills relevant to the department's needs
  • Proficient in customer service and phone etiquette
  • Accurate data entry skills
