Job Summary

To oversee the daily operations of the Central Insurance Verification Department, the full-time Supervisor, Patient Access will manage a team of Insurance Verification Representatives remotely, ensuring efficient insurance verification and financial clearance for patient visits.

Key responsibilities
  • Supervise daily workflows and monitor team performance to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and address performance issues among staff
  • Run productivity reports and perform quality assurance reviews to maintain adherence to policies and procedures
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five (5) years of experience in registration/insurance verification or a healthcare-related field
  • Experience in managing staff is preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance verification procedures and familiarity with EPIC systems
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
