Job Summary
A company is looking for a Team Lead, Patient Access.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee insurance verification, registration edits, referrals, and authorizations
- Coordinate training and mentorship for new hires while supporting team productivity and quality standards
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policies while managing patient data and communications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred experience in a Team Lead or coordinator role
- Minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare or physician's office experience related to pre-authorizations
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and individual payor websites
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with healthcare software preferred
