Patient Account Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Analyst to process payments and manage accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes payments accurately to ensure even cash flow
• Reviews and manages accounts on the Aged Trial Balance to maintain zero balance status
• Analyzes reports and audits payments to resolve revenue cycle issues

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience
• Experience in a healthcare or finance/accounting office
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding (preferred)
• Experience with Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR) systems (preferred)
• Education/training in medical terminology (preferred)
