Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Account Associate - Colorado will manage payment details, research and adjust postings, and initiate recoupments and refunds while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and validate payment details, ensuring accurate adjustments to payment postings
• Initiate and follow up on payer recoupments, refunds, and patient refunds in accordance with established procedures
• Navigate various payer claim portals to facilitate account resolution effectively

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle required
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required
