Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Associate II specializing in Credit Balances.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and validate payment details, making adjustments to payment postings as necessary
• Initiate and follow up on payer recoupments, refunds, and ensure account resolution
• Train new and existing associates while navigating various payer claim portals

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle required
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required
• Two (2) years of experience in insurance-related activities preferred
• Advanced knowledge of revenue cycle and health insurance payers preferred
