Patient Account Associate II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Associate II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review insurance aging reports, resubmit and work corrected claims and appeals, and manage aging claims and accounts receivable
• Maximize reimbursement through comprehensive follow-up
• Utilize knowledge of medical billing processes and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of full cycle medical billing experience
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers
• Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) and denials
• Experience with insurance claim appeals
