Patient Account Collections Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Collections Manager to lead their collections team and ensure effective accounts receivable management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the collections team, providing training and support
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize days sales outstanding (DSO) and maximize collections
• Monitor collections metrics and collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical collections, with at least 2 years in a management role
• In-depth understanding of medical billing, coding, and payer regulations
• Proficient in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
