Patient Account Lead Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Lead Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of insurance follow-up and collections, including documentation and billing functions
• Provide coaching and training to staff members, including participation in the new hire interview process
• Attend meetings and training to enhance job knowledge and communicate issues to management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 3-6 years of experience in Medical/Hospital Insurance related collections
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Experience with UB-04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) interpretation
• Proficient in CPT and ICD-9 codes
