Patient Account Lead Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Lead Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage insurance follow-up and collections, including payment research and documentation
• Provide coaching and training to staff, including new hires, and assist in special projects
• Participate in meetings and training to enhance job knowledge and communicate issues to management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 3-6 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Familiarity with UB-04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) interpretation
• Proficiency in CPT and ICD-9 codes
