Patient Account Lead Representative
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Lead Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage insurance follow-up and collections, including payment research and documentation
- Provide coaching and training to staff, including new hires, and assist in special projects
- Participate in meetings and training to enhance job knowledge and communicate issues to management
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 3-6 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
- Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
- Familiarity with UB-04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) interpretation
- Proficiency in CPT and ICD-9 codes
