Patient Account Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist Patient Accounts to join their Billing & Collections team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls from patients to resolve billing-related inquiries
• Research and reconcile aged patient accounts and process necessary adjustments
• Ensure timely processing of workload by interacting with patients, clinicians, and insurers

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-year customer service or call center experience preferred
• 1-year experience in medical billing, health insurance, or collections preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding preferred but not required
