Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative in the United States for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and resolve patient account issues by contacting payors and patients, updating information, and identifying trends
• Participate in meetings, training seminars, and in-services to develop job knowledge
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal Laws Regulations for Managed Care and other Third Party Payors

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• Thorough understanding of the revenue cycle process
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
