Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve patient accounts by contacting third-party payors and patients
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing account inventory
• Document account actions and communicate issues related to insurance collections

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
