Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances through communication with payors and patients
• Document account activities and maintain productivity and quality standards
• Participate in special projects and meetings to enhance job knowledge and address payment delays

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of experience in medical claims and/or hospital collections
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting applications
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance types, billing forms, and the revenue cycle process
