Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims
• Monitor and update patient and financial information for accuracy
• Analyze and resolve issues causing payer payment delays, initiating appeals when necessary

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections and hospital/facility billing required
• Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing including ICD-9/10, CPT, and HCPC codes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience using various workflow systems and client host systems
