Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve patient accounts using company applications and internet resources
• Maintain productivity goals by managing account inventory and ensuring timely resolution
• Communicate issues and trends with payors and escalate aged accounts to management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
