Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative II responsible for processing patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes insurance components of patient obligations and bills claims appropriately
• Follows up on denied claims, performing appeals and denial recovery procedures
• Analyzes and resolves credit balances on patient accounts and responds to refund requests

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• One year of relevant experience
• No professional license or certifications required
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and data entry
• Availability for day shift work schedule
